Things to Do in Gowna
Loch Gowna is a series of individual and interconnecting freshwater lakes meandering silently between drumlins. This freshwater system has a plentiful stock of Perch, Bream, Tench, Roach, Pike, Hybrids, and the occasional Brown Trout, a fisherman's paradise.
The Loch Gowna lakes cover an area of 1,800 acres (728 Hectares) and are the source of Ireland's second largest inland freshwater system; the Erne River.
Ask Timmy about our bait fridge and tackle room facilities, the local bait suppliers and our ample parking space. Our cold room is very popular among fishermen and we also have a boat available at your request.
